Step Boldly Into 2025Aligning Your Goals with Your True Self

As I mentioned yesterday, success is a deeply personal and incredibly subjective concept that differs from person to person.  We must look at individual values, goals, as well as perspectives. At its core, success is the achievement of desired outcomes or the fulfillment of specific goals, whether they are related to personal growth, relationships, career, health, or happiness.

Different Perspectives on Success:

  1. Personal Fulfillment: Feeling content and aligned with your values, passions, and purpose in life.

  2. Growth and Learning: Overcoming challenges, gaining knowledge, and continuously improving.

  3. Impact: Making a positive difference in the lives of others or in the world.

  4. Material Achievements: Gaining wealth, status, or recognition for your efforts.

  5. Balance: Successfully maintaining harmony between various aspects of life, such as work, family, and personal well-being.

In essence, success is less about meeting external standards and more about living in a way that resonates with what truly matters to you. Did you catch that? YOU! You are the definer of success.

As we stand on the threshold of 2025, many of us are yearning for success—each defining it in our own unique way. But let’s be honest: some of us are stepping into the new year with hesitation, carrying the weight of unfulfilled hopes from 2024.

If success eluded you this past year, could it be that your goals didn’t truly resonate with who you are on a deeper, vibrational level?

Sometimes, we chase goals that align more with societal expectations or material achievements, while our core values—our true essence—crave personal fulfillment. Here’s the truth: if a goal doesn’t vibe with our core values, achieving it becomes nearly impossible.

So, let’s pause and reflect. What truly drives you? Don’t look to your current circumstances for answers. For example, having financial struggles doesn’t automatically mean your value is wealth. Likewise, growing up around changemakers doesn’t mean global impact is your core driver. Instead, it’s time to get introspective and uncover what truly makes your heart sing.

Ask yourself these powerful questions:

  • What is most important to me in life?

  • What would my ideal day look like?

  • What do I admire most in others?

  • What causes would I fiercely advocate for?

  • What would make me walk away from a job?

  • What are my biggest regrets?

  • What do I want to be remembered for?

  • How do I spend my free time?

  • If I could change one thing about the world, what would it be?

  • When do I feel most alive or satisfied?

  • How have I made difficult decisions in the past?

These questions are a starting point. Grab your journal, sit in stillness, and let your answers flow without overthinking. When you let your emotional brain take the lead, you’ll tap into your most authentic self—the "why" behind your dreams. Your logical brain can figure out the "how" later.

This exercise is about rising to higher ground—connecting with your higher vibration and letting go of what no longer serves you. While the world may be lost in distractions, you are choosing clarity, alignment, and purpose.

Breathe it in. Up here, the air is clear, and the possibilities are limitless.
