It's Ok to Not Be Ok

Allow emotions to be there, yet don't give place to a permanent residency
Have you seen EndGame? Where Thor is crying but denies it, then admits his weakness in crying?
That's been me this week. Sometimes the whole reality of being a widow hits harder than on other days.
My main wheelhouse, my gifts, lie in emotional health and wellness. And yet, sometimes having it together isn't where I sit.

The beautiful thing in knowing so much about emotions and essential oils is, you don’t stay in that space for too long. I find many people fight feeling strong emotions because it can be overwhelming. Yet if you allow them to well up, wash over you, knowing it's like the ocean waves, they will end, then you're able to process your emotions and move forward.
One of the best essential oil blends to use when this occurs is SARA. For those who know, yes, SARA is an acronym for sexual and ritual abuse. But when you are walking through waves of grief, negative emotions, etc, if can feel like abuse. Abuse from the outside circumstance, perhaps even residual trauma leftover from old wounds. Whatever the case, this oil is a precious gem to have in your back pocket.
When these strong emotions rise up, take your SARA and rub it over your chest, or wherever you tend to hold emotions.
Deep breaths.
Apply again, more deep breaths.
More oil, maybe some journaling to release the thoughts swirling in your mind.
SARA Essential Oil is a blend of seven different oils that helps to release stress and negative emotions. For those who have had negative experiences that may have "charge" or "triggers". These are unresolved negative emotions that can be restored when brought to your awareness.
There are some other oils to consider should you be new to healing emotions using essential oils. Find the list here and consider a consult on how to use them.
Remember, it’s ok if you’re not ok. It’s just not ok to stay there.
