The Backstory
On Friday, I mentioned that I hadn't, in fact, researched essential oils to full capacity. My friend had originally asked if I had anything written on Exodus II, but I came up empty-handed for her.
I started researching this oil Friday, but Egyptian Gold took over, not sure why, except probably, we all needed to collectively shift energetically.
Saturday morning, I woke up to find that Young Living was offering Exodus II at a bit of a discount for those of us who take advantage of their Loyalty program. I mean, you gotta love quantum entanglement! Especially because until Saturday morning, this oil was NO WHERE to be found.
Did I cause it to come back? Did my silent asking of the Lord, “Where can I get some more of this blend?” bring the oil to us the very next day? I’m gonna go with, heck ya!
If you’ll all recall that I did, in fact, pray for In and Out and Trader Joe’s to come to TX, and well, for those of you who frequent those two gifts— you’re welcome for the benefit of tapping into my belief that we truly can have anything we ask for. 💁🏼♀️

Why Exodus II Matters
Now, for those of you who will be benefiting from Young Living’s offer, I have written some good information about this blend that truly, most homes are wise to have on hand. I highly recommend two, BTW, because, well, you’ll see…
First of all, Exodus II is a blend of 8 oils and was inspired by the story of Moses telling Aaron to intercede for the Israelites, again, because they had angered the Lord, again. Read the story in Numbers 16; it’s a doozy.
So this blend is loosely based on the formula that the priests were commanded to make for the temple. Some folks over-spiritualize it, saying there are no physical benefits to dosing oneself in essential oils. Turns out, the wrath God was sending on the people was a plague, and Aaron stood, dosed in the incense, between the people and the plague, and it stopped.
It’s not either or, it’s both.
God’s tools of essential oils are multifaceted, like the One who created them— they heal the physical as well as the emotions, and brace yourself— the spirit. Let's stop dancing around the truth that these are the real deal, and modern meds are the straight-up impostors.
The Oils Within the Blend
Frankincense
You know how sometimes you just need to breathe deep and feel like everything slows down? That’s Frankincense. In fact, there’s a reel floating around social media where a guy talks about the crazy benefits of this oil. Spoiler alert, the man had brain cancer and huffed frank quite often. Not sure if that was the ticket to healing, but it certainly helped him.
As we all know, Frankincense is truly the elixir of gorgeous skin, and as we see beautifully demonstrated in scripture, the quick immune system powerhouse. Emotionally, it’s like a deep exhale for your soul — it brings peace, quiets racing thoughts, and helps you reconnect with the frequency of Heaven.
Hyssop
Now, Hyssop is one of those oils that feels like a fresh start. It’s super cleansing — great for the lungs and digestion — but it also does the same thing emotionally. Some folks just need to have an emotional 💩 and they’d be all set. If you’ve been carrying guilt, shame, or just heavy energy, Hyssop is the one to help you release it.
Cinnamon
Cinnamon feels like a cozy hug that wakes you up inside. It’s warming, boosts circulation, and supports your immune system — but emotionally, it lights that little spark when you’ve been running low on motivation.
But not the hustle and bustle motivation, only that calm assurance of knowing this is the item to do, at the moment, and you are here for it.
Myrrh
Sweet, unassuming Myrrh is a delight all in itself for a myriad of uses. Namely, it’s in what I use for sunscreen and giving my thyroid a much-needed attitude adjustment. Emotionally, it’s so nurturing and grounding when you wobble.
Cassia
I gotta be honest, (am I any other way?) Cassia is a bit much for me on her own. Like, girl, calm down, we get it, you’re powerful. Cassia is Cinnamon’s extroverted sister. She comes right in and strengthens your body’s defenses immediately.
Emotionally, she lends you her confidence when you lack it. She helps you not play small.
Calamus
Calamus has this way of clearing the mental clutter. Physically, it brings balance to your nervous system, and emotionally, it’s like flipping the light switch on in your mind — everything is just brighter.
Northern Lights Black Spruce
As someone who is part Native American, Northern Lights Black Spruce is quite a familiar experience. The energetic shift you get from even opening the bottle is unreal. Married with all these other oils, yowza.
Your adrenals and lungs will express immense gratitude as you take deep inhales of NLBS.
Vetiver
And as I mentioned in the Egyptian Gold post, Vetiver is a timeless classic, one that frankly tends to be overlooked. This one is an instant knock-out oil when diffused with NLBS, so you can imagine the rest you experience when Exodus II is diffused all night in your bedroom.
Emotionally, Vetiver is an anchor. It reminds us that we are totally rooted and grounded in Jesus, so when the world swirls with chaos, you are reminded that you are seated in the Heavenlies with Jesus. No need to feel anxious or overwhelmed— He’s got you, dear friend.
In Case You Needed the Reminder…
Enjoy your Exodus II this month, and every month. It’s a wild world out there— aren’t you grateful our Father already gave us everything to navigate it with grace?
